| Review: I just watched the movie and my expectations were met. It was not over-hyped, it was not done as far as marketing. It probably could have used a bit more, but still ... It turned out to be a fun movie to watch.I are quite familiar with the original story and the legend of the real 47 Ronin and despite historical inaccuracies that even most stories today will need to create a more dramatic and exciting history and old tales. It comes to mind that Frank Miller's graphic novel 300, which ended the film, it was generally inaccurate compared to the actual events that took place, but it did the 300 Spartans look ä : Even more stunning and buckle pin; exciting to see. Most stories have decorations in them. Otherwise, they would be kind of boring. The real world tend to be located just that.Making this movie is not just about telling a cool story, it is to perpetuate the warriors who stood firm and strong to chain , fighting for what they believed in, and also make them look good. The graphics were great, the costume was great, filmography was amazing, capturing the essence of Japan was amazing. Everything down to the colors, landscapes, trees, buildings and everything. Not everyone will like this movie, but I for one would recommend it to anyone who likes good movie about Samurai. This movie I thought was a good story. It was not good or Oscar worthy, but it was good. It was not all non stop action. The director did a great job of building without making elements drag and become dull.I honestly thought while watching it, it felt like watching a live-action anime. Not to mention, I have an obsession with Samurai, so I was sold when I saw the first trailer for film.Overall, I thought the acting was well done, I believe that Keanu Reeves did a good job. His character may not have been part of the true story, but the movie, I thought that it introduced something good for the film. First, an outcast and then be welcomed into the fold later in film.I also likes Hiroyuki Sanadas acting job on this. I think he did a fantastic job and the entire cast. All acted as if they really belonged there. No one has ever known of place.if you want historically accurate picture of the history, I suggest you buy a book or do some hardcore research on the subject. If you just want to see a good entertaining film full of mystery, and Samurai action. So this is a good way to go. This is just my opinion, take it as you want. See it before you criticize it.
