| Review: Don John was well received in its regional premiere at the Paramount Theatre in Austin's SXSW Film Festival. The film was written, directed and starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It is really a great job in his writing and directorial debut, but he may be trying to do too much. Functional Gordon-Levitt, Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Tony Danza, Glen Headley, and Brie Larson is pretty good. I think the Gordon-enabled Levitts leaves nothing to be desired. His character is a man, John very successful womanizer, who is also largely dependent on internet pornography to masturbate? several times per day. Many people will find the film quite entertaining and enjoyable. However, the use of graphic porn is not to everyone's taste, and can be disposed of viewers? particularly women viewers. They also question whether the widespread use of pornography leads to the MPAA to give it the kiss-of-death NC-17 instead of R rating.JGLs script is well-intentioned, and he tried to make clear, KSI, many people become so selfish that they lose ability to communicate with others on a human level. John is deadened real romance of his addiction to pornography. His girlfriend is too romantic view of relationships based on watching too many romantic movies. They are both so self-centered and selfish that they can not really build a real relationship.
